My mailman is a prick
Ok, so I stole the title for this post from my sister's blog, but considering it's the same fucking guy, I figured it was fine. She's had a few posts about how our mailman's a jackass. Last night, when my Mom got home from work, I heard her bringing the garbage can in. We always keep it in the same spot next to the garage, and apparently the mailman doesn't like where we put it, so he usually just knocks it over. So today, I took a bag out to the garbage, and the can is halfway to my neighbor's house! He couldn't just walk to the sidewalk like a decent person would do, so he just put our garbage can in my neighbor's yard!!

My Mallards hats
So, I finally finished knitting some more hats for the Mallards games. I've been taking one of them to the games. Here's a picture:

So, last night, I got to use it! (Thankfully I have a backup this time and there's not another home game for a week and a half.) Chad Woollard got a hat trick in the 3rd period of the game last night with just over a minute left in the game (AND that was his 200 career goal). So I threw my hat out there, and my sister, Shorty, got a picture of my hat on the ice:

So when I threw my hat out there, I was just so glad that I actually made it onto the ice on the first try. I went back to my spot, and I guess Jason Tapp (the goalie) had seen me throw it and went over to get it (that's his stick in the picture). I'm so glad my hat was actually noticed!!!
Now, let's see who gets to the next hat!!
